Visitors from Forest Hills, New York
This afternoon we received visitors, Eleanor and Luca Sergio, from Forest Hills a 'garden suburb' community in Queens, New York accompanied by their hosts from the Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust and the Residents Association.
Janet Elliott (RA Chairman), Angus Walker (Trust Chairman), Eleanor Sergio, David Davidson (Trust Architect), Luca Sergio, Michael Max
It was a bright day and the light through the plain glass windows on the north side of the church gave the ideal conditions for inspecting Starmer's paintings of 'eminent women' on the ceiling of the Lady Chapel.

Daily Prayer
Following requests (from beyond the parish - you can see where our visitors come from in the Live Traffic Feed at the bottom right of the page) links have been added to Daily Prayer in traditional language (Book of Common Prayer) versions. These are found under Daily Prayer in the right hand column of the blog. These link directly to the official prayer of the day of the church.
There is a short article about daily prayer on the blog here and useful website here.
The complete text of Common Worship: Daily Prayer (you will also need a copy of the Bible for the readings) is available in book form from Church House Bookshop.
